Venezuela
We lived in a city called Maracaibo, Venezuela for 3 years. We love Venezuela and the experiences we had there. Although Venezuela is in a very bad situation at the moment it is a place we both think you should visit when it becomes safe. It is the most beautiful country. It offers every type of scenery you could image from beautiful sandy beaches and crystal blue ocean waters to lush jungles and tall mountains. Venezuelans are truly amazing people. They are friendly, proud of their culture, and resilient. We had the privilege of experiencing a culture within a culture in the city we lived in. They call themselves Maracuchos. They are loud and passionate and will forever hold a place in hearts.
